Choosing the 24 Core Fiber Optic Cable Armored Multimode OM4 Indoor Outdoor

24 fibres serve campus and data-centre backbones, where many duplex links share one route and spare fibres are kept for growth. OM4 carries 10 Gb up to about 400 m and 40/100 Gb up to 150 m, the usual choice for new data-centre and backbone links. Corrugated steel tape armour protects against rodents and crushing for direct burial and outdoor ducts.
